Lithium batteries have transformed the way we power our world — from the e-bikes in our cities to the forklifts in our warehouses to the vehicles in our driveways. But with that transformation has come risk. Battery fires are increasing every year, and in most cases, the warning signs were there — they just weren’t visible.
TempAlert was created to change that. By applying thermochromic technology — material science that has existed for decades — to a simple adhesive sticker format, we developed a product that anyone can use, anywhere, on virtually any lithium battery. No training. No technology. No barriers.
We launched in November 2025 at the Automotive Recyclers Association of Atlantic Canada annual meeting, and the response confirmed what we already believed: people want simple, reliable battery safety — and they’ve been waiting for it.
